Equipment is vital to success in Heroes of Gaia, as Hero equipment adds significant amounts of Hero attributes and other beneficial buffs to Hero armies.

Ways to get Equipment

1. Buy from the castle Bazaar.
2. Find on the Overworld map
3. Obtain as reward from Tower of Babel floors 10, 20, 30, and 40
4. Obtain as rewards from the Underground City guild instance.

Treasure Guardians

Modifiers / affixes on equipment given by NPCs become rarer as the Equipment Level rises. The chances of finding magical, rare, or unique versions on high-level (9-10) equipment are slim, and many high level pieces of equipment are white.
