Hawkeye raises the ranged attack of ranged units by 1.5% per level, up to a maximum of 15%. This is a combat spell that must be equipped on a hero and used during combat. |
Strategy[]
Hawkeye is very good in conjunction with Elf Hunters, and can help significantly with NPC farming. However, Hawkeye becomes obsolete for almost any type of PvP battling as Elf Dragons and other Tier 10 units quickly overrun Tier 8 units.
It is probably wise to invest in no more than 7-8 levels of Hawkeye.

Quirk[]
The percentage used by the game for Hawkeye is rounded down before being used in the battle calculations. This means that any even number spell level will function exactly as advertised but any odd number spell level will be 0.5% lower than advertised. For example, level 9 will only increase Attack by 13%, not 13.5%. This rounding is done before the spells are added together in instances so if all four people have odd spell levels the total will be down a full 2%.
