Secondary Arms are a new type of equipment introduced in the Heroes of Gaia: Tower of Babel expansion released on December 15, 2009. Secondary Arms require the player to earn "Record" points which can be obtained by winning battles in the PvP Arena.
Most Secondary Arms provide magical damage or magical resistance. The magic is based on known elements of fire, wind, water, and earth.

The amount of magic each secondary arms contains is based on its rarity. Note: white is not included because the Tower of Babel does not produce any white equipment).

Obtaining
Secondary Arms may be obtained in the following ways:
- Every 10th floor of the Tower of Babel;
- One or two may be awarded upon completing or exiting a Guild Instance;
- Some holiday events, inclduing New Years;
- Randomly drop as spoils from Treasure Guardians.
